The Front End Manager (FEM) oversees all front end operations, including POS, cashiers, service desk, layaway, and cash office functions. Reporting to the Store Manager, they ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience, proper scheduling within budget, and front end cleanliness and organization. They monitor cashier performance, review daily reports, and address issues promptly. The FEM recruits, trains, evaluates, and disciplines team members, conducts morning meetings, and ensures company initiatives like line control and cash management are executed. They maintain excellent customer service, communicate policies, and handle equipment repairs. Requirements include 1-2 years managing a high-volume retail front end, strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. Physical capacity for lifting and standing is also necessary.
