Position Summary:

The Buyer is responsible for performing professional procurement functions in support of District operations, including solicitation development, contract administration, and compliance with applicable procurement laws and regulations. This position manages a variety of purchasing activities of moderate complexity and serves as a resource to Schools and District departments and vendors. Additionally, this position assists with administering and monitoring lease agreements, Intergovernmental Agreements (IGAs), and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in business, public administration, or a related field preferred; or
  • Three (3) years of purchasing, procurement, or contract-related experience.
  • Experience in public sector or school district environment is preferred.
