What Youll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitor for side effects
- Document patient histories, care provided, and medication administration accurately
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care and ensure safety
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge instructions
- Manage complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients in accordance with standards
What You Need
- Current RN license in Texas or a multi-state compact license
- Minimum of 2 years ER experience in a fast-paced setting (free-standing ER, urgent care, or ER code)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (current)
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
