What You’ll Do
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments, including patients on TrueBEAM/VARIAN systems, ensuring safety and precision
  • Perform radiation therapy simulation procedures in accordance with prescriptions and oncologist instructions
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment to maintain safety and cleanliness standards
  • Explain procedures to patients, assess their needs, and coordinate care accordingly
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, dose records, and weekly chart checks
  • Monitor equipment operation and report any variations or malfunctions promptly
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and institutional policies at all times
What You Need
  • Required:
    • ARRT Certification (T)
    • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license (Texas Medical Board)
    • BLS certification (AHA)
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Basic computer skills
  • Preferred:
    • 1+ year of full-time radiation therapy experience in a hospital or treatment center
    • Experience with TrueBEAM, VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC systems
