The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a strong interest in technology and a willingness to interact with subject matter experts across a variety of disciplines.

Requirements
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.
Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Education Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a writing or science related field of study.
Can substitute four or more years of experience as an effective technical writer for college degree.
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
The candidate will develop comprehensive documentation pertaining to the systems that we deliver to our customers. Communicating this information in a simple and concise manner will be crucial as we continue to provide quality products to our customers.
Research, outline, write, and edit content while working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
Gather information from subject-matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise, and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards allowing for easy data migration.
Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation.
Salary Range: $55,000- $90,000 annually.
