Security Guard - Part-Time

• Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 6AM-2PM

• Pay Rate: $18.07/hour

• Responsibilities:

• Staff the facility's single point of entry, verify vehicle passes, and issue visitor passes.

• Provide directions and maintain a secure environment by preventing unauthorized access.

• Monitor the weather alert system and track open confined spaces.

• Serve as liaison between the fire department and SDI personnel when necessary.

MUST have a valid driver's license.

MUST HAVE COMPUTER EXPERIENCE Including but not limited to typing and math skills, Microsoft Word, excel, and outlook.

The position requires you to be standing/walking for extended periods of time.

• Desk-type security greeting all visitors, employees, contractors, and truck drivers as they enter the facility - Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security - Warn violators of premise rules and regulations - Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts - Report any facility issues - Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.
• Must have good computer and typing skills
