Volt is immediately hiring for 1st & 2nd shift Machine Operators in Oceanside, Ca.
As a 1st shift Machine Operator you will:
• Operate and monitor food processing equipment (Polyclip, Stuffers, Grinder, Mixer Line, etc.)
• Set up machines at the start of shift; adjust settings to maintain correct speeds, weights, cuts, and specs
• Support changeovers, cleaning, teardown, and equipment assembly
• Verify process parameters and document results per HACCP, GMP, and USDA/FSIS standards
• Perform routine checks to ensure product quality, weight accuracy, and integrity
• Accurately document all production data
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate when needed
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and follow all food safety practices
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE, guarding, and safe material handling
As a 2nd shift Machine Operator you will:

The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Formal training in Machine Operation or mechanical systems is beneficial.
Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment.
Hands-on experience operating production machinery.
Experience in a USDA-regulated facility preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Effective basic computer skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Ability to read and write in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Able to work in a cold environment.
Clear drug test is required.
Pay Rate:$18.00 - 21.00 per hour
