1ST & 2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN'S NEEDED - LORAIN, OHIO
A Leading Automotive Supplier near Lorain, Ohio needs 1st & 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician's. Previous Maintenance Tech Experience in a Manufacturing Plant is Required. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on heavy manufacturing machinery, Stamping Presses, and Welders.
Execute repairs quickly and safely, while assisting in the implementation and installation of new or rebuilt equipment.
Perform building and ground maintenance across seasonal shifts and manage basic electrical wiring and plumbing tasks.
Keep detailed schedules of completed service and report any malfunctions or damage to the Maintenance Manager.
Communication Skills to communicate and interact with all levels of Management and Employees.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status in Machine Repair and/or equivalent on the job experience
Strong working knowledge of Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electrical and Hydraulic Troubleshooting and Repair
3 plus years of related Maintenance Experience in a Manufacturing Plant Setting
Metal Stamping & Welding / Assembly Expertise is Preferred
Advanced Technical Capacity
Strong Equipment Troubleshooting Skills
Working knowledge of NEC and ANSI Codes
Computer & Math Skills sufficient to perform department related tasks required
