Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team. This role involves hands-on work in areas such as carpentry, metal polishing, solid surface polishing, and paint preparation. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and take pride in producing high-quality finished products.
Job Title: Skilled (Carpentry / Finishing) – 1st Shift
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime may be available)
First Day Start Time: 8:00 AM
Pay Rate:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to carpentry, metal polishing, and surface finishing
- Prepare parts and materials for painting and final production
- Operate and safely use hand and power tools
- Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Prior trade experience preferred (carpentry, polishing, or similar hands-on work)
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, reliable, and willing to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (lifting equipment required for heavier items)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must pass a 5-panel drug screen
- Background check required (IDOC/Sex Offender registry; felonies considered on a case-by-case basis)
