Summary:
  • Cut, assemble, and prepare steel and metal components according to shop prints and production specifications.
  • Work closely with engineers, welders, and fabrication teams to ensure quality and production efficiency.
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret shop prints, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Assemble steel and fabricated components according to specifications.
  • Identify, stage, and prepare materials for assembly and production.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, welders, and production staff.
  • Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain quality standards and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
  • Multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of experience in assembly, steel fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment 
  • Ability to read shop prints and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong understanding of material handling and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Comfortable working on your feet and handling materials in an industrial setting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
