Summary:
• Dock Associate / Forklift Operator position
• Support shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Operate forklifts to move, stage, load, and unload materials
• Prepare, organize, and process incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized dock area
Responsibilities:
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect products for damage
• Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, labeling, and staging freight for shipment
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and dock area using a forklift
• Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation
• Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous warehouse, dock, shipping and receiving, or forklift experience
• Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified
• Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and stand throughout the workday
• Must be able to lift and move 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
