1st Shift - Driver/Warehouse

Armada Staffing Group is currently seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Furniture Installation Technician to join our team in Columbus, OH.We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with hand tools and power tools and can assemble, disassemble, deliver, and install office furniture. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, able to work in different environments, and committed to providing quality service to customers.
Pay Rate: 22.50
Shift/Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• End time may vary slightly depending on the day's schedule
• Evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Proficient with hand tools and hand-held power tools
• Ability to assemble and install office furniture
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to meet short-term deadlines and occasionally work beyond normal business hours
• Dependable and reliable
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work assignments
• Detail-oriented and focused on quality
• Furniture installation experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds; most items weigh 50 pounds or less
• Valid driver's license required 
• Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck required for approved driver positions
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a 10-panel drug test

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble modular office systems
• Build and install office furniture in the warehouse and at customer locations
• Receive and deliver office furniture
• Properly handle merchandise to prevent damage
• Perform office furniture relocation and moving services
• Have customers sign delivery checklists
• Notify the Operations Manager of any discrepancies with customer invoices or merchandise
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and warehouse
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Provide professional and courteous service at customer locations
