1st shift Extraction operator. Hours are 7:00am- 3:3pm with the pay rate of $20/hr.

Job responsibilities are as follows:

1st Shift Extraction Operator

A company in Hamilton, OH is searching for a 1st Shift Extraction Operator
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
$20 per hour
 

•  
• Set up and control processes such as blending, extraction and filtration and complete appropriate documentation
• Operate process and utility equipment in a hygienic and safe manner in accordance with all process procedures, cGMP and HAACP guidelines
• Set up, calibrate and monitor instruments such as pH meter, temperature meter, conductivity meter, hydrometer and thermometers
• Tear down, clean and re-assemble equipment such as pumps, grinders and valves
• Clean utensils, vessels and lines
• Identify, troubleshoot and respond to deviations in process, product, equipment and performance variations
• Perform minor maintenance work on equipment when necessary
• Complete the daily, weekly and monthly sanitation schedules
• Complete necessary paperwork and batch sheets that accompany mixes compounded
• Record indicator readings and test results
• Follow standard instructions to package products to specifications
• Tend solvent extraction equipment that extracts flavor compounds
• Observe temperature and steam pressure gauges and flow meters
• Turn valves or hand wheels to regulate temperature and flow of material in equipment within specified limits
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning

You must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check in order to be considered for this position.
