The Forklift Operator handles the daily material movement within the warehouse and production floor. This role supports inbound receiving, outbound shipping, production line staging, and overall inventory management using industrial forklifts and material-handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods.
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight trailers; verify trailer contents against bills of lading and shipping paperwork.
Stage required raw materials at production lines and safely transport finished product back to warehouse storage racks.
Utilize RF scanners to log inventory movements, updates, and cycle counts accurately.
Secure all pallet loads with proper shrink-wrapping and strapping to prevent transport damage.
