Forklift Operator - Manufacturing Facility

Pay: $18.50/hr

Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday (some Saturdays)

About the Role
We're hiring a Forklift Operator to support recycling operations inside a manufacturing facility. This is not a 100 percent forklift position. You'll split your time between operating a forklift and working alongside material handlers to sort and move recyclable packaging materials such as cardboard, plastics, and mixed recyclables. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors.

What You'll Do
• Operate a forklift indoors and outdoors to collect, move, and stage recyclable materials
• Spend part of your shift off the forklift assisting with sorting and handling materials
• Support recycling workflow within the facility
• Follow all safety rules and equipment procedures
• Perform basic forklift inspections
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Work in non-climate-controlled areas when needed

What You Need
• Proven forklift experience (must pass written assessment)
• Willingness to get off the forklift and help on the floor as needed
• Ability to handle and sort recyclable materials
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in manufacturing or recycling is a plus
