Forklift Operator / Picking – ShippingLocation: Columbus, OH
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Summary:
  • Operate a stand-up forklift to pull customer orders
  • Build and prepare pallets for shipment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and shipping documentation
  • Support a safe and organized warehouse environment
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pull customer orders using a stand-up forklift
  • Build, stack, and organize pallets for shipment
  • Utilize pick sheets and record order changes or shortages
  • Communicate out-of-stock items and inventory issues to management
  • Complete daily forklift inspections and report safety concerns
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment through general housekeeping duties
  • Assist with additional warehouse tasks as assigned
Requirements:Desired Work Experience:
  • Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred
  • Order picking and shipping experience preferred
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Special Certifications Needed:
  • Forklift experience required
Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
  • Understanding of units of measure and inventory counts
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, and reaching overhead
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to hear equipment alarms, horns, and backup signals
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
