Position Summary:
As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in our operations by performing essential tasks that contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our parcel handling and auditing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Parcel Handling: Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing parcels, ensuring they are processed accurately.
- Picking: Accurately select items based on specific orders and ensure proper documentation throughout the process.
- Auditing: Conduct thorough hand audits using pen and paper to verify item numbers and quantities, ensuring accuracy in inventory.
- Documentation Verification: Utilize packing slips to find lot numbers, confirming that all items correspond correctly with records.
- RF Gun Operation: Proficiently operate an RF gun to assist in inventory tracking and management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures carefully.
- Basic math skills for accurate auditing and verification.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and able to lift heavy objects.
- Experience with RF scanners or similar technology is a plus.
