As a Hand Packaging Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and quality of our pharmaceutical products through precise packaging processes. You'll work closely with the production team to uphold industry standards, maintain operational excellence, and contribute to a safe work environment.
What You'll Do
As a 1st Shift Hand Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Completing gowning and sanitation procedures necessary for entry into and exit from the clean room environment.
- Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production.
- Inspecting labels and finished products to verify they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Manually packaging and labeling products when automated lines are unavailable, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Documenting all packaging activities in adherence to GMP, SOP, and ISO regulations.
- Properly handling and disposing of hazardous waste generated during packaging processes.
- Supporting team members with various manufacturing tasks to meet daily production goals.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and functioning.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience working in a clean room environment, especially in packaging roles.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
