Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Lead to support daily operations and lead a team of production workers. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, a strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee production line activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. • Monitor team performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support. • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and GMP regulations. • Train and mentor new employees. • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to meet daily production goals. • Assist in troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues. • Maintain accurate production and shift reports. • Support continuous improvement efforts on the floor.
Requirements 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or related industry. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards. Ability to read and interpret production reports, procedures, and safety documents. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Forklift certification is a plus.
