Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Liquid Production Operator to ensure the seamless set-up and operation of equipment that blends, mixes, packages, and transports liquid and dry chemicals. What Youll Do:
- Set up, operate, and monitor equipment involved in mixing, blending, and packaging liquid and dry chemicals.
- Ensure products meet all quality standards and customer specifications.
- Adhere to safety procedures, utilize personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize process efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
- Handle materials, including lifting up to 55 pounds regularly and occasionally handling up to 250 pounds with proper equipment such as forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in plastics, colorant, mixing, extrusion, or blending operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general internet skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety guidelines.
- Forklift experience and ability to work as part of a team.
- Manual dexterity, quantitative skills, and conflict resolution abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with hazardous chemicals and familiarity with safety equipment such as respirators, chemical suits, and face shields.
- Knowledge of additional production software or automation systems.
- Experience working in environments with vibration, humidity, or airborne particles.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant manufacturing or industrial operations experience, with a focus on mixing, blending, or extrusion.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and properly use personal protective equipment.
- Capable of working in environments with noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and variable weather conditions.
- Willingness to work in a fast-moving, sometimes dirty job that requires physical strength and safety awareness.
