Machine Operator – 1st Shift
$19.00/Hour | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Job Summary
We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a busy plastic rotational molding facility. This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for operating rotational molding machines, feeding raw materials into production equipment, monitoring the molding process, and finishing completed products.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working in a physical manufacturing environment, and able to maintain attention to detail throughout the production process. Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Feed raw plastic materials into rotational molding machines according to production requirements.
- Operate and monitor molding equipment throughout the production cycle.
- Monitor machines for proper operation and identify potential issues.
- Remove finished molded products from machines once production runs are complete.
- Trim and finish molded plastic products to meet quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or other quality concerns.
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed.
- Follow production instructions, work orders, and established procedures.
- Use hand and power tools as required to trim and finish products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and required PPE requirements.
- Handle materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage.
- Communicate production or equipment issues to supervisors or leads.
- Assist with other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and operate plastic rotational molding equipment.
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and physically demanding manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift and handle parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift and move heavier items with assistance.
- Frequently bend, reach, maneuver, and position yourself around large molded parts.
- Ability to use hand and air-powered tools frequently.
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
Working Environment
This is a hands-on manufacturing environment that can be hot and humid for extended periods of time. Employees may work around:
