Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, inspecting products for quality, performing basic assembly and packaging tasks, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting production goals while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

 

Shift: 6:30am - 2pm

Location: Round Rock, TX

Key Responsibilities:

Operate 2–3 production machine lines based on production requirements.

Inspect all parts produced to ensure compliance with quality standards and work instructions.

Immediately report any questionable, defective, or non-conforming parts to the Shift Supervisor or Quality Technician.

Trim excess flash from parts according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Remove part runners using drills and other approved tools.

Package and hand-wrap products according to established SOPs and work instructions.

Assist with pack-out operations and product preparation for shipment.

Regularly reference work instructions and follow all production procedures.

Utilize air drills, hand tools, and assembly fixtures as required.

Notify the Supervisor immediately of machine malfunctions, production interruptions, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

Accurately document and count all rejected parts produced during the shift.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Assist with production line changeovers and shift transition activities.

Thoroughly clean assigned production lines at shift change.

Prepare packaging materials and supplies for incoming shifts.

Follow all company safety procedures and perform duties in a safe manner.

Report unsafe conditions and hazards to management immediately.

Take personal responsibility for performance, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Communicate training needs to the Supervisor.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Notify the Supervisor prior to the start of the shift if unable to report to work or if running late.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Quality Technician.
