Machine Operator - Plastics (Injection Molding)

Location: Sparks, MD (Onsite)

Pay: Up to $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary

A growing manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its Plastics department on day shift. This role focuses on plastic injection molding operations, supporting production efficiency, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines
• Perform machine startups, shutdowns, and basic changeovers
• Inspect parts to ensure quality specifications and consistency
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; escalate as needed
• Maintain production flow to meet daily output goals
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Keep work area clean, organized, and audit-ready
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing protocols

Qualifications

• Injection molding experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read work instructions and production schedules
• Capable of standing for full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, team-oriented, and production-driven mindset
