FIRST SHIFT MACHINE MAINTENANCE POSITION AVAILABLE


 Crescent Paper Tube is a family-owned business which strongly believes in the concept of doing things right and taking pride in every aspect of operations. We are currently soliciting for maintenance technicians for our manufacturing equipment and plant floor operations equipment.


 Primary Duties:

• Machining skills using manual lathes, mills, drill press, centerless grinders, etc.
• Repairing, maintaining and improving industrial machinery, paper tube winding machinery, packaging machinery, and other production equipment.
• Perform hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical control troubleshooting.
• Maintain facility.

Secondary Duties:

• Ability to operate all production equipment
• Welding
• Strong awareness of Safety
• Ability to work as a team member

Additional Skills/Requirements: Preferred
3+ years of experience in machining using manual machining equipment 
3+ years of experience with mechanical troubleshooting at the component level
3+ years of experience working on industrial assembly machines.
   -Blue Print Reading is desirable.
   -Welding experience
   -Strong mechanical skills, such as understanding Hydraulics and Pneumatics, not only theory, but real, hands-on experience.
   -Basic machine shop practices, such as drilling holes with drill press, tapping holes, threading pipe, identifying pipe fittings, and how they
     are used (some water lines, mostly air lines).
   -Ability to measure in inches, millimeters, with tape measures, scales, micrometers and calipers.
