Full-time 1st shift opportunity with a cardboard box manufacturing company
Support the maintenance and repair needs of production machinery and facility equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Lead other maintenance technicians in daily duties and assignments
Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Perform equipment fabrication and repairs
Hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
Support the maintenance needs of production machinery and facility equipment through timely troubleshooting and repair
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to help meet production goals
Follow established preventative and predictive maintenance programs and assist with their continued development
Lead other maintenance technicians in daily duties and maintenance activities
Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems
Work with relay logic, motor controls, drive systems, and related electrical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and mechanical systems
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and PLC ladder logic
Perform equipment fabrication and modifications as needed
Complete tasks and projects assigned by the Facilities Manager
Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and production requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical trades
Strong electrical skillset, including 3-phase and single-phase systems
Experience with electrical troubleshooting tools, relay logic, motor controls, and drive systems
Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and mechanical systems
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics
Ability to read and understand PLC ladder logic
Previous experience leading or directing other maintenance personnel preferred
Ability to make decisions and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office and other PC-based programs
Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and mobility
Must provide own basic hand tools
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
High school diploma or GED required
Vocational or technical certifications preferred
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and PLC ladder logic
Perform equipment fabrication and modifications as needed
Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
Perform additional duties as assigned
