1st Shift Material Hander (MP#336775)

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Downers Grove. 

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved, packed, or processed
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and shelves using a hand truck or forklift
• Transport materials between storage and work areas efficiently
• Prepare materials for shipment, including strapping, bracing, and padding to prevent damage
• Accurately count, weigh, and record materials on daily production sheets
• Label and tag materials or containers appropriately
• Load trucks for outgoing shipments
• Bundle and organize materials as needed
• Remove scrap or waste materials from production areas and dispose of properly
• Move and track materials within the system (Vantage or similar)

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Sit-Down Forklift experience 
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
