Pro Resources is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler for a growing manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, a four-day workweek, and long-term career growth.
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime is likely available on Fridays
What You'll Do
Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Record material movements using inventory management software.
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kanban practices.
Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily production goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving Associate, or in a similar manufacturing role.
Manufacturing or industrial experience required.
Forklift experience is required; prior certification is a plus.
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
