• Full-time, 1st shift schedule: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. Overtime on Friday

Summary:
• Prepare and process steel materials for fabrication by reading shop prints and identifying material by size and specification.
• Work closely with engineers, burn table operators, and welders to ensure accurate material flow and job readiness.
• Operate a variety of shop equipment in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret shop prints and work orders.
• Identify, stage, and prepare materials based on size and job requirements.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, burn table workers, and welders.
• Operate material prep and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Maintain attention to detail and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience in steel fabrication, material prep, or a related industrial environment required.
• Strong understanding of material handling and shop print interpretation.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Comfortable working on your feet and handling materials in an industrial setting.
• Commitment to teamwork, communication, and quality workmanship.• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
