1st Shift Mechanical Assembler
As a 1st Shift Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of Candy Machinery. Utilizing your strong technical skills and attention to detail, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly of mechanical components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed mechanical assembly tasks according to established procedures and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions to guide the assembly process
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to assemble components with precision
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify and resolve any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations
- Collaborate with team to address assembly-related challenges
Qualifications:
- Some experience in mechanical assembly or a related technical role but willing to train the right person
- FL experience a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow with a company
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask
Working Conditions:
This position involves working in a manufacturing or assembly-focused environment. The work schedule is primarily during the 1st shift, and the role may require the ability to lift and move materials up to 30 pounds.
