Mechanical Assembler- Garland
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for assembling and building? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Assembler at our manufacturing facility in Garland, TX! If you're ready to take your skills to the next level and work with a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling products such as switchboards and ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. You will use your skills to read blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to build products accurately and efficiently.
Location: Garland, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-3:30/5PM- OT as requested
Pay rate: $19
Responsibilities:
- Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to instructions.
- Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
- Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects.
- Team Player: Keep jobs on track, report issues, and support your peers, especially during high-demand periods.
- Adaptable: Embrace new tasks and challenges as they arise, showcasing your flexibility and dedication.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of Assembly experience
- Detail Oriented and consistent
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Independent and Collaborative: Capable of working alone and thriving in a team environment.
- Safety-Conscious: Always aware of and engaged in health and safety practices.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English. BG check
