We are working with an established precision manufacturing company in the Wheeling area that is looking to add a CNC Milling Operator to its 1st shift team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC operating experience who wants to join a stable, growing manufacturer producing high-precision components for demanding industries including aerospace, defense, medical, and other advanced manufacturing markets.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components
Load and unload parts, materials, and tooling as required
Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes
Read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
Inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
Monitor machines throughout the production process and identify potential quality or tooling issues
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality requirements
Complete production documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
Previous CNC milling or CNC machine operating experience
Comfortable working in a precision machining/manufacturing environment
Ability to read blueprints
Familiarity with basic inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers
Understanding of machining tools and basic CNC processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
CNC setup experience is a plus but not required
