1st Shift Mixer – Join Our Dynamic Production Team!
Are you ready to play a key role in crafting high-quality dough batches that keep the production line running smoothly? As a 1st Shift Mixer, you'll be the backbone of our mixing process—combining precise raw ingredients to create consistent dough that meets exact specifications, all while maintaining a safe and team-friendly environment.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in following detailed formulas and mixing procedures
- Strong ability to assess dough consistency by touch, sight, and taste
- Skilled in handling and operating Powered Industrial Trucks (must have or obtain certification)
- Ability to manage time efficiently during product changeovers
- Competent in basic math calculations and reading formula sheets
- Excellent communication and teamwork mindset
- Commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience training and mentoring new team members
- Familiarity with GMP standards and food production environments
- Prior involvement with equipment cleaning and changeovers
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a production mixing or food manufacturing role recommended
Other Requirements:
- Must maintain PIT certification or be willing to obtain it
- Ability to work the 1st shift consistently
- Adherence to all company policies and safety procedures
