1st Shift Packer

Overview

Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in preparing products for delivery. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to efficiently pack and label products, ensuring our customers receive high-quality items. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $13.50 an hour, with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7 am - 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Set up packing stations by reviewing orders, gathering materials, and coordinating with material handlers.
• Visually inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
• Pack products into cartons, folding them according to specific arrangements and securing items inside.
• Seal and label cartons to prepare for shipping.
• Organize pallets with specific stacking arrangements and appropriate tagging.
• Maintain accurate records by completing logs of packing activities.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
• Support manufacturing and organizational goals by completing tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in packaging and manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and follow safety management practices.
• Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
• Physical ability to lift and move products as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with controls and instrumentation in a manufacturing setting.
