1st Shift Paint Maintenance Supervisor - San Antonio, TX

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor 

Venteon is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in San Antonio, TX

Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor 

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance shop management experience.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience in automated paint booths preferred 

• 2-year associate degree in engineering or related maintenance field preferred

• Strong working knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine repairs (including overhauls).

• Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and using PLC systems for diagnostics.

• Ability to generate and present reports using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and nights as required by management.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor 

• Plan, assign, and confirm daily maintenance activities for all shifts.

• Report daily equipment downtime, Kaizen progress, and problem follow-up sheet status during management meetings.

• Conduct audits of PM completion, including weekend activities, and provide daily status updates.

• Ensure proper execution of repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

• Support a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and leading safety-related initiatives.

• Mentor and train maintenance team leaders and members to meet targets in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Machine Efficiency.

• Oversee the use and condition of tools and equipment; ensure proper 5S practices are followed consistently.

• Coordinate and execute internal audits and Kaizen projects in support of company's management systems.

• Assist with development and tracking of departmental expense and capital budgets.

• Supervise special projects and support other departmental priorities as assigned by management.
