1st Shift Part-time Packer

This position is primarily available to give breaks during our first shift production period. The essential function of this job is to pack bags of finished product into boxes for shipment. The hours will be Tuesday-Thursday 6am-2pm.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.Packs up to 80 bags per minute into boxesCounts number of bags that go into each caseLifts boxes onto conveyorsPalletizes boxes onto skidSpot checks seals, weight, code date and overall appearance of finished packsSorts used cardboardSupplies packing lines with cartonsStickers sale priced items as neededInspects finished potato chipsRecognizes problems with equipment, product, or packaging and immediately reports to managementQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
