HOURS > Monday- Thursday 6am- 4:30pm, plus overtime as needed! Position Summary: Performing various tasks to aid daily operations at the paint shop. The duties and responsibilities of this position are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work space while also supporting the overall function of the paint shop. Essential Functions: - Use pallet jack to move pallets of metal parts close to work area
- Hang and plug material parts prior to the powder coating process
- Ensure that items are prepped and cleaned correctly prior to the coating process
- Unplug material pieces after materials have been painted and dried
- Keep area clean and organized
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Assist in other areas as needed
Requirements: - High school diploma or GED
- Background working with sheet metal (preferred)
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way
- Must maintain excellent attendance, and expect to work overtime if needed
Environmental Conditions: - Humidity level may be elevated during summer months
- Exposure to loud noise, at times
Physical Demands: - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Able to stand on your feet for at least ten hours a day
