PrideStaff is currently seeking a 1st Shift Plate Mounter/Forklift Operator for a plastics manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity with opportunity for growth! Please see job requirements below to be considered.- Pay range: Starting pay is $20 per hour. After an initial training period (usually 1-2 months), pay will increase to as much as $24 per hour depending on proficiency.
- Shift: 5:00 am to 5:00 pm on an alternative work schedule
Position Summary:
Responsible for receiving orders, place a plate onto a sleeve, and ensure it is properly aligned. The role requires lifting sleeves that weigh 15-50 lbs. and can be up to 10 feet long. Will also work with solvents (Acetone based) for cleaning plates and sleeves. Will operate a sit-down forklift to help move product.
Essential Duties: - Maintains inventory of finished goods and production support materials
- Maintains all aspects of housekeeping according to plan policies and procedures
- Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation is consistent with the policies and procedures that me up the Quality System
- Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member
- Ensures work are is kept clean according to facility/corporate standards.
- Ensure all environmental standards and requirements are met
- Adhere all GMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates and quality requirements.
Qualifications: - Must have recent experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Must have at least 1 to 2 years of related material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work with cleaning solvents and acetone-based products.
- Must be able to lift, stand, walk, lift, and pull throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Client requires a resume and interview. Client also requires 2 positive work references.
