1st Shift Production Operator - Manufacturing | Turlock, CA | Forklift Experience Required

Sigma Inc. is hiring a 1st Shift Production Operator - Industrial for a leading manufacturing facility in Turlock, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable manufacturing professionals with forklift certification and feed mill experience.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Occasional overtime and Saturdays required based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy industrial production equipment safely and efficiently
• Meet daily production and quality goals
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
• Perform feed mill production duties and material handling
• Clean workstations and assigned production areas at the end of each shift
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Read and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Perform basic computer data entry and production documentation
• Assist with miscellaneous production assignments as directed by management
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
• Forklift certification required
• Feed mill experience required
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and ladders throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights greater than 5 feet
• Able to work in hot, cold, dusty, and industrial manufacturing environments
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including beating/poking bins and digging out dies
• Must have good visual acuity

Required Equipment

• Steel Toe or Composite Toe Boots

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
