Location: Neosho, MO
Job Type: 3-Month Contract
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Pay Rate: $21.75 per hour

Position Summary
As a Production Worker, you will work as part of a team under the direction of a shift lead or supervisor to support manufacturing operations. This role involves ingredient handling, machine operation, quality inspections, packaging, forklift operation, inventory control, and maintaining production efficiency while meeting strict quality and safety standards.
Candidates must be flexible, willing to cross-train, and able to work in multiple production areas as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow daily production schedules and work orders
- Set up ingredient mixes according to production requirements
- Scan ingredient bags to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Gather, weigh, and measure ingredients according to strict quality standards
- Feed ingredients into production machinery and monitor operations
- Fill and package products into designated containers
- Operate sewing equipment to securely close product bags
- Collect and prepare product samples for quality testing
- Package finished goods and enter production data into company systems
- Use scanners and barcode software to track inventory and production activity
- Stack bags according to shipping specifications and quality requirements
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with company quality standards
- Approve and release finished goods for shipment
- Wrap and move finished products to designated storage locations
- Conduct quality control inspections and documentation
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain clean work areas
- Assist with material movement using forklifts and lifting equipment
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills in individual and team settings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Experience using scanners, barcode systems, or production tracking software
- Ability to accurately record and communicate detailed information
- Ability to pass forklift training and certification requirements
Preferred
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Warehouse, packaging, or material handling experience
- Forklift operating experience
- Quality control or inspection experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment
Physical Requirements
