Production Technician – Essex Junction, VT

Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | $20.95/hr

Join a hands-on production team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll operate and monitor high-speed equipment, support daily production tasks, and help maintain an efficient, high-performing environment.

Schedule

Shift: D2 – Fri, Sat, Sun + every other Thurs

Hours: 6:00 AM–6:15 PM

Overtime/holiday work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures.

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery.

• Support production activities, data tracking, and standard work.

• Participate in problem-solving and improvement efforts.

• Suggest ideas to improve productivity and quality.

• Support SQF, GMPs, QDS, and HACCP requirements.

What You Bring

• Ability to learn mechanical processes quickly.

• Manufacturing/mechanical experience helpful but not required.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive mindset.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 35 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally.

• Stand, bend, stretch, and move throughout shift.

• Frequent kneeling, squatting, climbing, twisting, overhead reaching.

• Work in varying temperatures/humidity.
