We are currently seeking motivated 1st shift Production Workers for a confidential manufacturing company located in the Boardman, Ohio area. This is a great opportunity to join a stable local employer and grow with their team.
Designed to support a busy manufacturing operation, you'll be involved in assembling custom kits, performing quality checks, and helping ensure products meet specifications. Hours:
7:00am 3:30pm, Monday Friday
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure parts are built to the blueprint specifications
Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery
Use table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc., to assist in making parts for customers
Use tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks
Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives
Assist with packaging goods to be shipped
Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to verify parts' accuracy and quality
Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Minimize raw material waste through effective offcut management
Work fluidly with other departments to ensure products are shipped out on time
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in a woodworking environment
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
Manufacturing experience in a hands-on, fast-paced setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to follow safety guidelines and policies
Ability to work on-site at our Boardman, OH location
