Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you'll manage inventory flow, process shipments accurately, and maintain an organized warehouse. You'll work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that materials are handled efficiently, supporting the seamless production process every day.

What You'll Do
As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming products securely in designated areas.
• Preparing shipping documentation and maintaining detailed transaction records, including dates, quantities, and locations.
• Verifying shipment accuracy and quality, ensuring all labels and paperwork are correct prior to dispatch.
• Coordinating with carriers and expediting urgent shipments to meet tight deadlines.
• Loading and unloading materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Sorting and disposing of scrap materials like cardboard, strapping, and other waste to keep the workspace tidy.
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and tow motors safely to move large or heavy items.
• Assisting with inventory counts, cycle counts, and organizing stock.
• Performing additional warehouse duties as needed to support ongoing operations.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; formal training or coursework in warehouse operations is helpful.
• At least two years of experience in warehouse, shipping, or inventory management roles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or tow motors preferred.
• A safety-conscious and self-motivated approach to work.
