Summary:

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and in compliance with good manufacturing practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • N/A
Duties/Responsibilities:.
  • Unload trucks with incoming material/ products/ components and processes receipts according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading.
  • Prepares customer orders for shipment: Stage the required shipment, quantity; Verifies part/lot numbers: Shrink-wraps palletized loads; Affixes shipping labels, Marks shipping information on carton/pallets/skids.
  • Loads trucks with outgoing freight and processes shipments and inventory transfers according to customer requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Operates all warehouse and shipping/receiving equipment as necessary.
  • Assist warehouse Supervisor and/ or Shipping Coordinator as required and directed.
  • Observes all health and safety requirements and maintains work area in neat, safe and orderly fashion.
  • Selects storage space for raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
  • Maintains product integrity with in a specific location for storage and/ or movements.
  • Identifies and locates items. When necessary, prepares items for handling by shrink wrapping or otherwise securing items to pallet or container.
  • Moves material and items from receiving or production staging areas to warehouse storage location or to designated areas.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Completion of "Fundamentals of Injection Molding" Paulson Training.
  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to safely operate a Forklift
Education and Experience:
  • 1-2 years experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to communicate with other team members, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.
  • English language proficiency, to include verbal and written communication.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hrs.).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Requires manual dexterity.
  • Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment.
  • Frequently moves from waist level to floor level.
