Ashley Industrial Molding is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, shipments are scheduled efficiently, and communication between departments remains organized and effective. Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outgoing shipments and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time
- Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and bills of lading
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment schedules and issues
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
- Verify materials, quantities, and packaging before shipment
- Assist with scheduling pickups and tracking deliveries
- Support warehouse and production teams as needed
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to work within shipping systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
