If these are resonating with you, then you are in the right place.In Short:The Splitter Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a splitting machine to split stone slabs and strips into full veneer product and chunks for NTV product according to work order specifications.Role and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in mandatory stretching exerciseReceive direction and work orders from supervisorVerify that tools and equipment are in proper working conditionsFollow all safety regulationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform routine daily maintenance of equipmentContinually feed splitter by positioning stone on conveyor to obtain proper cutsPerform stone splitting process according to work order specificationsUnderstand and maintain quality standardsUnderstand conveyor safety and proper operationProduce finished product for packaging and chunks for NTV sawsComplete necessary paperworkOther duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsProduct knowledgeAbility to read a tape measureAbility to lift objects weighing between 50-100 poundsCompetenciesDependableAbility to perform repetitive tasksDetailed orientedSelf-motivatedAbility to adapt to varying work environmentsAbility to work independently and as a teamWork ConditionsGenerally works in production plant conditionsBuechel Stone Corp will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records for employment in compliance with the FCO
