Transducer Assembly Technician
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible scheduling available between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Compensation: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

Summary:
  • Assemble precision force-measuring transducers used in electronic products
  • Perform detailed soldering and assembly work under a microscope
  • Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure product accuracy
  • Support production goals through high-quality workmanship
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare transducer bodies using sandblasting and cleaning processes
  • Mark transducer blanks for precise strain gage placement
  • Bond strain gages and wiring tabs to components
  • Perform high-quality point-to-point soldering on small assemblies
  • Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies
  • Maintain calibration and testing records
Requirements:Desired Work Experience:
  • Prior soldering experience required
  • Prior electronics assembly experience preferred
  • Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Special Certifications Needed:
  • None required
Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and precision work skills
  • Ability to perform fine soldering work under a microscope
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Interview & Screening Requirements:
  • Onsite interview and soldering assessment (approximately 1 hour)
  • Must pass background check (no felonies, theft, violence, or sex crimes)
  • Must pass drug test
