Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Turning Machinist to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for setting up and operating complex CNC turning equipment while maintaining extremely tight tolerances and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate complex precision turning jobs with minimal supervision
  • Perform CNC programming, editing, and machine setup (highly preferred)
  • Hold size and profile tolerances within .0002
  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
  • Follow all quality procedures related to machine setup, operation, inspection, documentation, and material handling
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety standards and procedures
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment as required

Qualifications
  • Previous CNC turning/machining experience required
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of precision machining and tight tolerances
  • Experience using standard inspection and measuring tools
  • CNC programming and editing experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
