Warehouse Associate – Returns Processing

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing returned merchandise, accurately updating inventory records, and ensuring returned products are properly inspected, sorted, and processed. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process returned merchandise.
• Sort and categorize returns according to established procedures.
• Use computer systems to enter, update, and verify inventory and return information.
• Research product information and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Print labels, process documentation, and maintain accurate records.
• Identify damaged, defective, or resaleable merchandise.
• Assist with restocking and organizing returned products.
• Operate standard warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, inventory, or returns experience preferred.
• Computer experience is required, including the ability to navigate multiple systems and accurately enter information.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or warehouse/inventory software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle products throughout the workday.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
