Position Purpose:
Warehouse Receivers are a part of the foundation to our company's success. They work enthusiastically, safely, and accurately to ensure that all inbound products entering the building are compliant and received in good condition.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Receiver position receives in all inbound merchandise and ensures accurate counts, dates, and product integrity. It also moves, stocks, and replenishes products within the warehouse to supplement outbound orders.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Receives all inbound merchandise within dry, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse zones.
- Stores and replenishes products to various locations throughout dry, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse zones.
- Records accurate temperatures, trailer conditions, and product quantity counts, per HACCP Food Safety Guidelines, for every purchase order received.
- Correctly applies Receiving LPN Tags to inbound products.
- Ensures accurate fulfillment of product to pick locations, via systematical demands.
- Maintains a high level of awareness to promote a strong safety culture while operating in the warehouse including areas near compactors, racking, dock levelers, and while travelling through aisles and on the floor, with or without the use of PMHE.
- Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes, including FIFO (first in, first out) and temperature requirements.
- Performs end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment, verifying completed work, and warehouse cleanliness.
- Maintains an orderly workstation; returns supplies, PPE, and PMHE to assigned locations daily.
- Follows all preferred work methods and safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE, according to company guidelines.
- Ensure work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- 6+ months of food warehouse work experience
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
- Must have 6+ months experience operating a stand up reach forklift and end-rider pallet jack
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check, VISTAR, Warehouse, • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 1+ years of food warehouse and/or distribution work experience
