Welding Team LeaderMonday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, overtime as needed Are you a skilled welder ready to take the next step into leadership? We are looking for an experienced Welding Team Leader to guide our Weld and Grind team, ensure top-tier quality, and drive production success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll DoLead, coordinate, and prioritize daily welding and fabrication activities to meet production goals Provide hands-on leadership in MIG and TIG welding (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel) Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders with accuracy Inspect weldments to ensure high-quality workmanship, proper penetration, alignment, and dimensional accuracy Train and mentor team members to improve skill level, productivity, and performance Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE requirements, and company policies Troubleshoot fabrication and welding challenges to minimize downtime Monitor equipment setup, maintenance, and safe operation Maintain accurate production records and ERP system entries Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste
What We’re Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalent 5+ years of welding experience, including leadership or supervisory experience Welding certification preferred Advanced knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes Ability to weld in all positions with consistent, high-quality results Strong blueprint reading and fabrication math skills Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Basic computer and ERP system experience A strong work ethic and reliability Team-oriented work environment Commitment to safety and quality
Work Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, welding fumes, and seasonal heat Must be able to stand for extended periods (10+ hours) Frequent lifting and material handling up to 50 lbs Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, helmets, and hearing protection
